Résumé du livre

Classic photographs of the great Ben Hogan by Jules Alexander; Essays by Dave Anderson, Ben Cranshaw and Dan Jenkins with commentary by Ken Venturi; To serious golfers the name Ben Hogan conjures up thoughts of technical perfection in the golf swing. For generations of golfers, Hogan's golf swing has been the ultimate -- the one to emulate, the standard by which all others are judged. To this day, golf's greatest teachers still use Hogan as the model. This book began simply as a collection of the wonderful black-and-white photographs that Jules Alexander took of Mr Hogan at the 1959 US open at Winged Foot. What has evolved is a celebration of Ben Hogan featuring a collection of original essays by many contributors. Ken Venturi, the long-time CBS golf analyst and close friend of Mr Hogan's, provides the running commentary accompanying the photographs.
