This guide was written with the aim of providing hikers with the necessary information to tackle a journey of about 90 km between nine towns in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park located in the Valley of the Calore river, passing over ancient bridges, crossing rivers and gorges of extraordinary beauty, while also visiting two UNESCO sites and two nature museums.
