Résumé du livre
This paper focuses on the role of preservice and inservice teacher education in the development and implementation of curriculum. The report is in two sections: Part A and Part B. Part A focuses on the results from a series of consultations involving all of the Queensland universities engaged in teacher education as well as a number of exemplary programs interstate. The findings and recommendations of this report will provide a stimulant for discussion about the ways in which tertiary centres for teacher education might become more closely involved in the processes of curriculum reform. Part B focuses on the curriculum areas of the Queensland P-10 framework. This section is the result of work carried out by ten tertiary teacher educators, each of whom is involved in a particular curriculum area and each of whom consulted with other tertiary educators involved in this curriculum area.
