European Cross-border Cooperation on Health

This study provides a useful overview of cross-border cooperation in the area of healthcare initiatives. It outlines how European health policy has developed through the different European Treaties. This study also provides a number of good examples of fruitful cross-border cooperation between countries and regions that illustrate that collaboration on healthcare between EU countries is worthwhile for everyone. Among many cross-border projects it puts particular emphasis on the mutually beneficial collaboration in the border region between Belgium and France.
