Résumé du livre
The Consortium for Resilient Gulf Communities is working to assess and address the public health, social, and economic impacts of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico region. As part of that work, a literature review was conducted to (1) better understand the extent of the literature involving population-based survey research on the public health, social, and economic impacts of natural and man-made disasters in the United States and (2) identify gaps in said body of literature. The literature review was scoped to focus on survey-based studies about the human impacts of disasters, published in English between 1998 and the time of the search, August 2018. The project resulted in an overview of the literature review and a corresponding database with the results from that review.
