Ginger is free of all ties, and runs back to tell Jack the good news. Except she finds him in her bedroom, plying her two best elf-friends with alcohol. She’s upset. Doesn’t he love her? 
She asks him outright but he refused to answer her. Feeling like a fool, she runs and hides. If she doesn’t have to see him, he’ll be easier to get over. 

Her new hiding spot has advantages she wasn’t aware of. Namely, she’s able to spy on all the elves at the North Pole, listen to their conversations and watch their every move, without them knowing she’s near. 

She’ll be able to find out everything she’s always wanted to know, and some she didn’t.
