Résumé du livre
The twenty-first century holds new challenges for the children of today. Teachers and schools must up-date the curriculum and their teaching strategies to keep up with these changes. Research has made some suggestions as to how to handle these changes. In preparing students for the challenges of the twenty-first century, research suggests that one thing that students need to learn is how to cooperate with others. Cooperative learning has been proven to increase student's abilities to interact and work with other students toward common goals. This can help to reduce student isolation and and perceived hostile climates that exist in highly competive classrooms.
