A selection of Henry Smith Leiper's (1891-1975) letters, selected and edited by his granddaughter, Eleanor Leiper Hall, documenting Leiper and family's life in North China, where Leiper served as a Presbyterian missionary under the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions from 1918-1922. The original letters are part of the Leiper Family Papers, RG 490, Presbyterian Historical Society, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
