This book provides a fascinating study of twentieth century history for students working towards the new GCSE examinations. It covers all the topics for the new GCSE Modern World syllabuses from all Boards. The emphasis is on clear, sound narrative and explanation, often led by Key Questions, incorporating numerous written and pictorial sources, eyes-witness accounts, letters, photographs, posters and contemporary cartoons.
