Drug Review: All candesartan doses were shown to be more effective than placebo in terms of controlling systolic (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP). placebo or candesartan. Improving Practice: The new GMS contract, published in 2003, is an important step towards the development of primary care in the UK.
