Résumé du livre

Owen Hawkins is the new kid in town, and more than anything he just wants to fit in and make friends. But when the boys he's trick-or-treating with decide to embark on a pumpkin-smashing spree, Owen is faced with a difficult choice: Should he go along with the plan to avoid the boys? teasing and calling him names, tell them he doesn't want to be a part of it, or something in between? In this exciting adventure story about vandalism, it is the reader, not Owen, who actually makes the decision. Midway through the story, the young reader is asked to help Owen choose from one of three possible options, each of which leads to one of three uniquely different and unpredictable story conclusions. Through this interactive format children are ae to make a choice for Owen as well as experience the consequences that play out as a result of the choice they made.
