First published in 1967, Learning Theory and Social Work is the first book to provide an introduction to the fundamental bases of learning theory, and to apply this approach to various topics in the psychology of personality and to social work treatment, here regarded as a learning experience. Recent research suggests that modern learning theory may have important implications for the practice of social work. This book is the first step towards the examination of the extension of learning principles to social work and will be useful for students of social work.
