Kaleidoscope 2000 is a diverse and stimulating collection of 65 short stories, verse and haiku from the members of the Sunshine Coast Writers Group, delightfully illustrated by local artist Valda Smith. A fine example of contemporary work from regional Queensland writers. This is the third offering of Stories and Poetry from this group. The book has been edited and proofed by the Committee and all twenty-two members have contributed to the writing - some serious, some humorous. This pool of talent has resulted in over seventy stories and poems. Once again the challenge of producing a book has been met successfully and should give encouragement to others who may be contemplating such a venture.
