Résumé du livre
Tungsten tubes suitable for secondary fabrication have been extruded from various starting materials. Pressed and sintered sleeves, vapor-deposited tubes, and pre-extruded tubes have been successfully extruded. In addition, consolidation and extrusion of high-purity tungsten powder in a single extrusion show promise. Various starting materials are being evaluated on the basis of obtaining good fabricability and properties, as well as providing a more economical means of producing high-quality tubing.
