Résumé du livre
The primary objective of this project is to provide laboratory data that is pertinent to designing hydraulic fracturing treatments for coalbed methane. Fracture conductivity, fluid leakoff through cleat, rheology, proppant transport and coal fluid interactions studies are designed to represent Black Warrior and San Juan treatments. A second objective is to apply the information learned in laboratory testing to actual hydraulic fracturing treatments in order to improve results. A final objective is to review methods currently used to catalog well performance following hydraulic fracturing for the purpose of placing the data in a usable database that can be accessed by users to determine the success of various treatment scenarios.
