This little book of reflections on the message of the book of Ephesians in the New Testament, is not offered as a commentary or even a scholarly study. It is a set of reflections based on Sermons I have preached over the last forty years of ministry. I hope this gives it a more down to earth and pastoral tone while remaining faithful to the message of the book.

As a preacher I have certainly done my own study of the text and used those tools to understand Paul’s message for people in his own time. After that it is my responsibility to present that message in a way that is relational, engaging, relevant, educational and challenging.
