Résumé du livre
Skinned and Detouched are a pair of books which document the industrial production of two sculptures by Alice Channer. They are intended as portals into a performative stage in the industrial production of artworks, and as an imaginative documentation of the multiple embodiments and disembodiments involved. The books include two texts by Jennifer Boyd, one of which takes the form of an erotic fiction about liquid PVC, and the other a horror story in zero gravity. The design adopts the format of promotional catalogues for industrial processes.
