Résumé du livre
Writes to enclose a letter to Knox that he had to update based on new information from Colonel [William Stephens] Smith (not present). Discusses several key political matters, such as a resolution suggested to Congress that is causing alarm in New York, as well as a petition to Congress for carrying a particular Treaty into effect. Writes that their opponents have created a counter-petition, but far fewer prominent citizens have signed that one than their petition. Also discusses upcoming elections for New York State Legislature, and reports that both parties are working hard to win because these legislators must appoint electors for United States President, Vice President and Senator from New York.
