An analysis, based on a number of in-depth interviews, of the impact the Reagan presidency had and is still having on the attitudes of black South Africans toward Americans and the United States. The work researches black South African attitudes toward a broad array of international relations issues, including radicalism, violence, capitalism, and socialism, concluding that black South African attitudes toward the United States are becoming increasingly more hostile.
